Sumwise

Pricing that clears expense reports

The suites start at $1,250/mo and want a sales call. Sumwise is the analyst's own tool at $15/mo — under the expense-report threshold, with the annual ($99/yr) making itself the obvious pick. The free tier is genuinely useful forever, and every query runs in your browser.

Pricing questions

Does my data leave the browser?

Not to any query engine. Every query runs in DuckDB-WASM inside your browser tab — the file is parsed client-side and no server-side engine ever sees your rows. Two things do leave the tab by design: your uploaded dataset is stored in your own workspace (gzipped, access-controlled) so it's still there next month and share links work, and when you use the plain-English question box, the question plus your column names and a few sample values go to the model that writes the SQL. The data rows themselves never leave the tab.

What's included in the free plan?

Everything you need to work a real month-end: 10 AI questions per day, datasets up to 10 MB (CSV or XLSX), the full result toolkit — SQL you can read and edit, tables, charts, pivots — and reusable artifacts with read-only share links. No credit card to start.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Pro runs through Stripe and you can cancel yourself in one click from the billing portal — no email, no retention call. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for, then drop back to Free without losing your artifacts.

What's the refund policy?

Cancel anytime and you won't be charged again — access simply continues to the end of the paid period. If Sumwise isn't working for you within 14 days of a charge, reply to your Stripe receipt and we'll refund that charge in full.
